A bevy of interesting facts from the 18 Years National Championships in Coffs Harbour this week......

* Half time scores are being added to the ATA website as often as time permits.

* Individual touchdown statistics are available on the SportingPulse website using the link below on the story for results.

* Remus (a local Coffs Harbour pub band) rocked the stadium last night for the 18 Years Championships function.

* There's a few new or updated uniforms floating around the 18 Years Championships, special mention of the SunCoast team who's colours look awesome as does their logo, a pineapple on a surfboard!

* Dennis Coffey (National Coaching Director) is working again with the GP Sports Systems, tracking statistics of players such as speed, distance, heart rates and so forth. The systems, no bigger than a mobile phone, are strapped onto the player's back for the duration of the match. A great tool in collecting information to develop touch football training methods further.

* Adam Collins and Kane Weeks are providing entertaining commentary from their tournament control box (known as the `fishbowl'), for a snippet of the days action check out their daily column `From the Fishbowl', which is found on the ATA homepage. It's a great read!

* The merchandise shop is booming, get in quick for a bargain if you can, there's some awesome new gear that has been incredibly popular.
