ROUND 2 SUMMARY- OPEN/20's NTL's 2004

The sunny start to the day faded away behind the dark grey clouds, but that only served to make the warm conditions a little more bearable for the players out on the fields.

With rounds one and two completed today, the tournament is running smoothly and in most competitions the ladders are starting to sort themselves out.

Competition tomorrow and Monday, leading up until the finals, will no doubt change the way ladders are looking and players, officials and spectators alike are looking forward to day two of the competition.

Mens Open:
After two rounds the Southern Suns are the only undefeated Mens Open side in pool one of the competition. They registered their second win easily, 9-3 over the Northern Eagles, who remain the only pool one side yet to win a match.

The Scorpions put their first round loss to the Suns behind them, registering a 9-3 victory over the Tropical Queensland Cyclones.

In pool two both the Brisbane City Cobras and Sydney Mets remain undefeated, although the Cobras had more than a scare against the Sunshine Coast Razorbacks, winning 3-2.
