| DAY 1 2003 NTL OPENS Heavy rain did its best to disturb the start of the 2003 NTL. The heavens finally opened up and let the rain flow after having poured sunshine over the NTL Seniors competition earlier in the week. With the fields originally designated for play affected by water all games were moved to the secondary fields. By midday however the games were being played in the main stadium. The ground crew at Coffs Harbour International Stadium did a fantastic job in managing to get the stadium surface ready for play. If all goes according to plan and the rain has finally finished its work all three main fields will be back in use for day two of the competition. |
