AUSTRALIAN CAMP BUILDS FOR FUTURE SUCCESS
The Australian Under 18 Development Camp was held at Runaway Bay on the Gold Coast from January 19-23.

After experiencing torrential rain for the first 2 days, the players were then thrown extremely hot weather...but nothing could deter these young Touch players from giving 100% and proving they have what it takes to represent Australia.

THE CONDITIONS AT RUNAWAY BAY
The picture here clearly shoes the weather conditions that the players and coaches at the recent Australian Under 18 Development Camp were confronted with.

It was a credit to camp managment and the coaches who re-worked the program and the venues to make the most of the situation, as well as to the players who still gave 100%.

On the more humorous side of things...it's funny to think of the potential comments flying between Australian Open players and camp mentors Phil Gyemore and Ben Robinson about the situation they're in.
