QSST TAKE 18S WOMENS TITLE
In a dominant display the Queensland Secondary School Touch (QSST) team has taken the women's 18 years and under national title against NSW Combined High Schools (NSW CHS) 5-0.

With Player of the final Kelly McGennity leading the way with three touchdowns, QSST never allowed CHS to really get into the game. CHS tried hard and created some opportunities, but QSST's defence was up to the challenge and CHS were unable to post a score.

Scorers for QSST were Kelly McGennity (3), Katie Shaw and Candice Ashley.

In the Bronze medal match South Queensland & Border Districts (SQBD) defeated NSW Combined Catholic Colleges (NSW CCC) by 5-3.

SQBD scoreres were Tara Mako, Ashleigh Fanning, Lauren McDonald, Emma Giaorla and Tamara Appo. NSW CCC scorers were Tara Milgate, Claire Winchester and Katie Baseley.

Earlier North Queensland defeated Hornets 5-1 to take the Cup final, and Brisbane Cobras (6) defeated Touchwest 6-0 to secure the Plate final.
