REBELS GO-TO MAN SIDELINED FOR THE NTL
Long serving Sydney Rebels Tour Manager Les Bouveng is sitting at home recovering, as he was yesterday and as he will be tomorrow, only able to learn how his beloved Rebels are faring from internet and phone results.

Les has been serving the Rebels Touch community since the inception of the National Touch League and would no doubt be here in 2005, doing everything humanly possible to lift his struggling permit.

The sad news is that late last year Les was struck by a heart attack, something that can strike even the most passionate, energetic and determined people.

Within a week of recovery from the heart attack, Les was again pushed down by a stroke, which has only recently seen him recover enough to leave hospital after nearly three months there and make it back home in time for the 2005 NTL.

When word got to Les that his beloved Rebels were struggling to organise a team for the Mens Open competition, meaning they would be unable to attend as a Permit, he almost put his health at even more serious risk by trying to get out of bed and fix the problems.

But thanks to the efforts of other Rebels, the team was organised to make it to the NTL and Les had no need to put his health at risk any further by heading down to Coffs.

All the Rebels players and management, and indeed everyone in the Touch community, wishes Les a speedy recovery and thanks him again for all of his hard work and dedication.

Poll
The ATA is wanting your opinion on the NTL logo.

Do you think that the logo is:
A: Terrible, the style has nothing to do with Touch and it needs a colour change

B: Satisfactory, not brilliant/not terrible, but what else could be done?

or

C: Great, encompasses Touch Australia-wide and the colours are the Aussie green and gold
