'FROM THE FISHBOWL' DAY THREE

Day 3
Well what can you say, never count your chickens before they hatch! In what has to be the upset of the 2005 ASICS NTL, the Northern Eagles Mens 20's put the cleaners through their more fancied opponents, the Sydney Mets, in their quarter final today. The hot-stepping speed merchants from the Eagles simply outclassed their rivals with a refreshing brand of Touch that we in the FISHBOWL are sure will bring the crowds back.
In a FISHBOWL exclusive, history has been created in the Mens 20's division this year with all teams from Pool B winning their respective quarter final's and advancing through to tomorrow's semi-finals.
In the Womens 20's division the Sharks were lucky to survive winning in a drop off against ACT in their quarter final, there was high emotion in the FISHBOWL with a controversial decision ending what was to be a fairytale for the girls from our nations' capital. The FISHBOWL has labelled the ACT girls the big improvers for 2005.
The Eagles, Cobra's and Suns join the Sharks in the semi finals tomorrow. If you have a lazy 50c the tip from the FISHBOWL is that the high flying Eagles girls are looking the goods.
Play of the Day goes to Glen "the dog" Eaton for his outstanding display of power, balance and poise when he performed a 3 minute handstand whilst changing the film in his camera. Love your work Glen!
