A message from ATA Chief Executive Officer, Kevin Thompson, regarding the position of Game Development Manager:

"I am pleased to announce the appointment of Colm Maguire to the newly created position of Game Development Manager in the ATA.

The creation of the position is a response to recommendations from the Shilbury Report that the national office needed the injection of additional highly qualified staff to help provide better service to the members.

Colm Maguire has a long history of involvement in the sport, most recently as the Executive Officer of South Australia Touch. He brings skills and enthusiasm to the role which will primarily be focused on servicing members through the Development Officer network.

Colm will also take be responsible for the high performance program and AusTouch program.

The position will be located in Brisbane, though Colm will work from the SA Touch office for the first few months. The location, outside of the national office in Canberra, is an example of the One-Touch philosophy in practice; one organization working to develop the sport across the nation.
