| Tour Diary Day Four | |
 Once Gary had taken his blood sweet and tears from us the afternoon was ours! Movies were watched and boys were visited...however our afternoon bliss was soon disturbed by the elders wanting us to undertake the devil hot/cold treatment. It was the biggest bucket of ice water to be seen and we were told that this was going to do us good! Somehow Kara pulled a 'cold' out of the her bag and missed the treatment. Gasps and shrieks of pain were heard as each of us jumped in and out of the ice cold water. Those new to the experience didn't know where to look or what to say as the five minutes of pain seem to go on an on. Tonight we travelled to the Northern Suburbs to play Northern Districts Touch, an organization that has its own fields and clubhouse. We were hosted with a meal and tough competition. Winning 6 - 2 showed that we made a few mistakes, however we did learn from them, so all was not lost. At the end of the day we were glad to have survived Gary's punishment. Today was again a day of embarrassing fines, laughs and a good team sing boosted our team spirit...gee we're good!!! By the Media Gang for the girls 18s. |
