Tour Diary Day Five

Today Hillary's Boat Harbour was on the schedule for sight seeing. Souvenir shops were raided for every and any Aussie flag. They were put to good use as everyone received an autographed flag from members of the Aussie 18s girls team.

As this evening was the first day of the test series of matches against the Western Australian Open teams, the afternoon was spent relaxing as we prepared to play.

Unfortunately someone forgot to tell the rain to stay away, on a day better suited to a winter football match, the first game got under way. The rest worked and we won match 5 - 0.

Whilst winning the match was terrific, the highlight was the TV appearance of the team captains. An interview was scheduled for Kelly, Kate and Troy on the local TV station that evening. The interviews showed that Kate loved to look at herself on the monitors, Kelly just plays touch...because she likes to touch, and Troy, well basically he did a fab job being the professional he is. Top work guys!

By the Media Gang for the girls 18s.

Do you think that the logo is:
A: Terrible, the style has nothing to do with Touch and it needs a colour change

B: Satisfactory, not brilliant/not terrible, but what else could be done?

or

C: Great, encompasses Touch Australia-wide and the colours are the Aussie green and gold
