Touch Football Online

Touch Football Australia (TFA) has recently developed and released the new SportingPulse Touch Football Online system (TFO) to be used by affiliates and the breadth of the Touch Football community. This is a major achievement and part of the continuous technological improvements and developments being deployed for the current strategic cycle; designed to better engage with, track and manage our members and their information.

The TFO program is now available for all recognised affiliates to converge to. Importantly, TFA aims to have all affiliates transition from paper registration processes to the new online system (TFO), by Season 1, 2015 (1 January, 2015). TFO helps affiliates maintain their organisations’ competitions and payments/financial details, but also better track member data and facilitate more effective engagement and communication with members.

Regardless of the size or scope of your affiliate, TFO can build new efficiencies into your business processes, saving you time and enabling you to manage your competition information to the most effective way.

The list of SportingPulse systems available to touch football affiliates includes:

(TFO) SportingPulse Membership:

Is combined in the same login as your Competitions database, meaning all your data is accessible in the one place. One secure online Membership database substantially reduces the time and resources needed to administer your affiliate membership data, and helps you capture, store, track and update member information.

The Membership portal also links to the Communicator tool.

-          Communicator - allows affiliate administrators to be proactive by enabling them to send email and SMS to members straight from the membership database.

(TFO) SportingPulse Competitions:

Helps administrators manage your competitions by enabling you to store, track, update and locate historical statistics, finals eligibility, tribunal matters, clearances and other key business requirements.

The Competitions module also houses a number of additions, linked to results entry. These are;

-          Online Results - which is linked to your competitions, and allows you to update results over the internet and use the data to quickly construct team sheets, record player stats and publish the data to your website.

-          LiveScore - allows you to enter scores live onto a mobile device e.g. smartphone or tablet, while you’re at the game/competition. It then will publish all updates to your website automatically, together with the ability to share the scores from the website with your Facebook and Twitter followers.

(TFO) Registrations and Payments:

Registrations provide a convenient way for your members to register into competitions/events, with the ability to pay online. This gets rid of multiple spread sheets and messy manual forms.

This is than linked to your membership database and preferred banking account, making the whole registration and payment process easier. To get started simply;

1.     Access your Membership database

2.     Apply to take credit card payments online through SportingPulse, and organise to have the funds transferred directly to your bank account.

3.     SportingPulse will then convert your current registration form to an online form

4.     Add a link to your website, send an email and invite your members to join

-          Fees - As the ability to accept online payments requires the use of a sub-merchant account, there is a cost involved of 3.9% card transaction fee with a 5 day setup period.

SportingPulse Websites:

Free SportingPulse websites are available to affiliates of TFA. A free SportingPulse standard website integrates your fixtures, results and ladders, social media and Youtube channel. As well as having an easy to use content management system which allows administrators to efficiently manage elements of your site and tailor its appearance, layout and colour scheme. As well as being mobile rendered and multi-browser friendly. Further website upgrade options are available.

TOUCH FOOTBALL REWARDS

In addition to the above offered products, TFA have launched the Touch Football Rewards program, whereby every member that pays online gets their affiliate one step closer to great rewards!

AFFILIATE CASE STUDIES

TFA has developed ‘Case Studies’ to identify and highlight some of the affiliates that are currently/ have been using the various SportingPulse products available to them, the most effectively.

We want our affiliates to develop and be the most efficient they can be, hence it is hoped the Case Studies will enable affiliates to inform and educate each other.
